Petit Cirque

This little chamber piece depicts the idea of a twisted circus. There is a novelty and wonder in circus acts, as close to magic as you can get. There is also darkness surrounding the idea of a circus, the of hiring “freaks” to attract crowds. This idea for the piece was in part inspired by the movie The Greatest Showman which shows the pain and the beauty in the lives of people who worked in circuses.
